Dear GK Hope Ball Supporters,

It is with great pleasure and honor that I am given the opportunity to chair the Second GK Hope Ball once again this year.

As some of you may recall, last year, with less than three months of preparation, we brought hope to this beautiful nation and became the voice for our brothers and sisters in southern Philippines. In that one night, with your support, we showed that religion, social status and cultural differences did not prevent us from coming together and uniting for one cause—to love and care for one another.

With the proceeds that we raised during the First GK Hope Ball, we now have 30 families, who are mostly conflict victims, starting their new lives and planting the seeds of hope for new generations in Panamao, Sulu.

This year we are continuing to focus on Sulu. We hope to raise enough funds to build another holistic GK community in Sulu and show everyone that we care and that we are here to extend our love to one another for many years to come.

We started an amazing journey last year and I am most proud to be part of this journey and most humbled to be leading this historical project. The impact you have made shall be a continuing inspiration. It will be remembered for generations to come!

The GK Hope Ball 2011 is put together by an amazing team of dedicated and passionate individuals and corporations. I would like to thank all our partners, sponsors, small or large, for believing in our cause and continuing on this journey with us.

Let us once again unite this beautiful nation, and on October 7, 2011, let’s all make a bid for HOPE!
