In the spirit of the season, Salcedo Auctions is pleased to announce its year-end event “Under the Tree: The Holiday Sale” on Saturday, 19 November 2011, 2pm at its Three Salcedo Place auction room, Ground Level, 121 Tordesillas Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City.

Among the works of fine art to go under the hammer are Nena Saguil’s 1971 Bleu sur Bleu (Blue on Blue), one of the very few shaped oeuvres by this pioneering neo-realist which was featured in the landmark Ateneo Art Gallery exhibition and the accompanying monograph; and a highly collectible 1920s “tipos del pais” sculpture of a man in salakot attributed to Graciano Nepomuceno.
