As a fitting finale to its 2010 auction season, Salcedo Auctions presents jewelry and watches of quality, rarity and provenance. Over 100 lots will be on offer ranging from affordable estate pieces of stylistic merit to exquisite personal adornments fabricated by artisans from the most precious metals and gems. There is a special section devoted to Filipiniana – gold pre-Hispanic and colonial necklaces, religious medallions – and much to admire in the craftsmanship and intricate mechanical movements of timepieces by the world’s leading watchmakers.

Key jewelry pieces include an impressive Chopard panel-link pave-set brilliant and baguette diamond necklace set in 18k white gold; a dramatic pair of Colombian emerald ‘Cinna Pampilles’ drop earrings by Boucheron, an antique diamond-set cameo pendant locket with a foliate border embellished with turquoises and seed pearls; a pre-Hispanic (15th-16th c.) gold gear bead necklace; and a fine 4.20 carat emerald cut diamond ring.

No. 2529 square, 18k yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with Geneva Seal produced in 1953; a platinum Ulysse Nardin “Sandhurst,” Limited Edition 063/250; and an Omega Genève “Dynamic” Oval stainless steel produced in the 1970s are among the highlight watches in this sale.
